Google is entering the French market for listening to music stream (“streaming”), without downloading, with its new service “Unlimited” Ad a note posted Thursday on the official blog of the group. The “Google Plays All Access” service, launched in May in the United States and renamed “Unlimited” in France, provides access to “millions of songs” majors and independents, “on all devices,” the company announced Mountain View, California.

“Unlimited” can listen to personalized and interactive ad-free radio stations. Users can also access the recommendations of experts and store them online for free up to 20 000 titles they can listen in addition to the titles available with unlimited access on Android devices or via a dedicated website. Google offers its service in France “Unlimited” free for a trial period of one month.

monthly subscription will then be offered at 7.99 euros if purchased before September 15, and € 9.99 beyond that date. This service is available across the Atlantic for 10 dollars per month. Google is entering a market increasingly competitive, face big European players such as Swedish Spotify, the world, the American Pandora Media or the French Deezer. For its part, the Twitter social network launched in the spring of a new music service in partnership with Spotify music store and Apple’s online iTunes.
