Philips has designed together with a disc jockey, a speaker system that serves as a mixer.

The art of DJ today no longer use turntables. Instead, serve more often as a player smartphones and tablets, while a special hardware allows scratching and mixing vinyl records without. Philips has now launched with the M1X DJ a device on the market that combines a disc jockey console with a room-filling speakers and an insert for iOS devices. The idea: too ambitious amateurs should be able to be with the complete music for a medium-sized party catering

The M1X DJ works with batteries and runs up to five hours..
