September 25, 2013 – The Microsoft Surface 2 is a 10.6-inch tablet, compared to Microsoft Surface RT, with a lighter and thinner design, a screen with a higher resolution (1920×1080 pixels instead of 1366×768 pixels), a faster processor NVIDIA Tegra 4 instead of NVIDIA Tegra 3) and RT updated operating system (Windows has been replaced by Windows 8.1 RT). The Surface 2 is standard with a full version of Microsoft Office 2013 RT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook). The Surface 2 Pro also includes a new and more powerful Core i5 Intel Haswell processor, which in addition to providing faster performance has better battery (between 7 and 10 hours according to Microsoft). In addition, this area has two quieter than its predecessor fan. It runs under Windows 8.1 Pro and can be used with the stand in two modes, allowing comfortable use on a desk or lap. The area includes two Pro Mini DisplayPort (with which you can project videos on a big screen), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microSD card slot and a USD 3.0 port. This model is available as a 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of internal memory and 4 or 8 GB of RAM.
